Merry Christmas
Santa is getting prepped to fly and this report brings to you my best of Merry Christmas wishes.
Fishing has been really good - loads of small trout to tug on rod with some really nice fish mixed in. Have to move
in search of the larger ones but can be well worth your time.
Rock are still on fire in Neuse and Trent waters. Topwater and jigging producing well. I prefer to use Rapala hard
plastics and DOA jigs. I am carrying the XRap Sub Surface that is extremely productive and can be used in structure
controlling your depth.
MY man Michael went out the other day and wore the trout out and mixing in some nice rock action along with a bream
on a 3D.
Me and JB did a short morning with low water and strong SW wind ending up tagging 5 fish, one at 17 1/2 inch and
releasing several under 12. Fish were in skinny water instead of deep surprisingly maybe due to water temps at 60.
If I can help with any of your fishing, boating or charter desires - call me on cell 252 670-2841 during winter
season. I will be updating fishing trip reports through the winter as well.
First weekend in January finds me at NC Fairgrounds Raleigh Fishing Expo. My booth will be in saltwater building
and am offering some good discounts on gear and charters. Come see me.
The following weekend is the Big Rock (Henrys) Dealer Tackle Show. This is my annual restock and find special
deals. If there is anything your need or want; t motors, Talons, rod/reels, ect; I share any show savings.
Again want to wish you a safe and Merry Christmas.
