June 1 Update

Been an up and down week. Had a phun trip with the Watkins (she is soon to be) with a lot of casting for a few fish but they said they had fun. She even taught me a cure for jellyfish stings! It was a tough day of fish where nice fish had been caught days before with a lot of obstacles to work around.

Weighed in a nice 5.12 flounder caught off the beach fishing structure. They had a good dayread full article

Late May Report

Fish are scattered – in summer mode. Need to look towards sound for best action.

Had a trip 21st with limited action. Worked my 2 “Pinfish” guys hard to get couple flounder and small trout. They were competitive with Jack having lead with the only pinfish until last cast John tied him! It’s all about fun no matter what we catch.

Brad and Mark came in 23rd with a great double limit and 2 fishread full article

Late April Report

Had a fun trip with the Smiths since last report. We were on some fish and Dad did the best! Was a bit windy but managed to boat a few and lost a few. This was a present from Todd to his Dad for birthday and retirement. Think I gave them a memorable trip - especially when I reaquianted them with my 1st mate Buddy Jackson.

Trout fishing has slowwed a bit with fish moved out of creeks into river.read full article

April Update

Trout are scattered but quality fish are here for a little work. Capt Owen is leading my shop tournament with this 7.62 trout. Could have made 10 with a little gut! I had a 5.3 the other day but doesnt touch his exceptional catch. Most fish still being caught on hard plastics of your choice - Mirros, Yo-Zuri, and Rapalas leading. Dont let wind and rain stop you - fish still eat. You can stillread full article
