DOA Lures Trip

Great time had again this year at River Palms Fish Camp for the Doa Fishing Lures Outdoor Writers Event. Huge thanks goes out to Mark Nichols and all his great staff for the invite and continued support of a great product. Great to see, fish and socialize with all the DOA Pro Guides and sponsors. No BIG fish for me this year but snook, trout, jack, and lady fish were eating. Need a guide in the Florida Guides Association area - call me and I will hook u up.

Trout and drum showing well in river with an occasional BIG Drum presenting self for a rod bending experience.
Back home and hard at it - booking up trips for trout, slot and Big Drum - have a few days left around the 4th July if interested.

I also am now Minn Kota ASC here to do your warranty and out of warranty repairs of your gear.

Windy Top Water Rock Afternoon

It was a blowing day on upper Neuse but managed to get the Duke Energy Company gurus ; Donald Broadhurst, Marty Dickey and Jay Golsch, a little rod bending. First charter too on my new 23 Key West and glad I had it! We fished the afternoon throwing top water along the stumpy shoreline and got each guy one with lots of blow ups and fish coming unpinned. Caught fish on the New Unfair Kures and Rapala Skitterwalk. Wind and rough water was the factor. Thank God for Power Poles. It is the only way to fish in weather like this. I did get a bass on the DOA Airhead also, great bass bait. Thanks Capt Ashley King for setting this trip up.
This action will continue and Big Drum showing – call to book as schedule is filling up.

June is Here

May is come and gone with some great fishing. Now on to Early summer.
Fishing – The trout and drum along with flounder mixed in will continue to be our targeted catch while looking for the Big Drum opportunities early. I will be fishing Neuse River and Pamlico Sound shorelines until the Big Drum bite gets into full run, then concentrate solely on them. I will be doing mixed trips on my new 23 Key West Bay Reef thanks to the support of Charlie Walker of Goose Creek Marine in Carteret County. Loads of room to easily fish 3 anglers per trip.
As a note – my offer of $100 discount on full 8 hour trips as light tackle and Big Drum possibilities is booking up – had 2 sign on yesterday and June 11- 18 left available. This offer needs to be booked and trip taken by July 1. Email me your desires at specfever@hotmail.com to get on board.
Shop – I have started keeping my tank full of mud minnows for the season and have the best selection of the DOA Fishing Lures available in the state. This includes the Big Drum Popping Cork rigs. Also have a large selection of TFO (Gary Loomis) rods in stock for light tackle and Big Drum. I fit them with Diawa reels and spool with FINS Windtamer Braid.
I am stocking Watersnake 80 lb SW trolling motors (foot pedal/tiller) that will put you fishing for under $800. 2 year full warranty as well. I can also install and repair and trolling motor out there. Power Poles are special ordered but can have in 2 days. I install and am an Certified Warranty Repair Center for them.
I still have the unique gun available – Rossi Circuit Judge SS 45lc/410 with 6 boxes of 410 buckshot and 3 boxes of 45 Colt hollow points all for $750 out the door. I will sell without ammo for $650 out the door. You need to have a clean NICS report and it is yours - ammo is at my cost!
Let me help you with any of your gear and fishing needs – 100% guarantee on all
