Rock have still be showing down river but slack up in New Bern. Hopefully water will get straight and bring them back for great top water action. Start of Fall Fishing
Have had fair success with small trout and few legals, lot of pups and some decent flounder.

Rock season opens Oct 1 and they are eating good in stump fields.

Doing 5 hour $400 trips targeting top water and moving into some trout/mixed bag. Can do 3 anglers but 2 is better for you anglers.
Just a call away!

Drum Status
Well, a lot of folks have asked why I am not posting much of lately. The reason is Big Drum has started slow and not too much to report. There are a few fish cooperating but it has been tough. The first Full Moon spawn is this coming week so things should improve drasticly.
There has been some drum caught on both DOA and bait. Your preference is the only decisionfactor as they both work. Iread full article

Day 3
Day 3 – Blowing out of SW at 6:30 and no let up all morning. Don’t stop my Key West 23 Bay Reef! Out with a regular client Ronald Plecinski of “Jersey” and his brother in law Randy of Texas for some action and told them this is no doubt the worst conditions we could fish here. And we still had a limit of trout and one real nice slot drum along with several shorties. Live bait and anchor day.read full article
