I had an old friend, John Norton

Rough Windy Weekend
Busy weekend slinging mullet and sticking drum while rocking and rolling – literally! Wind made for some treacherous fishing and hopefully none of you got hurt – I needed a lay day to recover.
Fish have come of the full moon spawn and are eating good – reports of multiple hook-ups soaking baits. The DOA Popping Cork Airhead Combo (aka Drum Buster)is knocking them out as well on lighters tackle.

Light Tackle Old Drum
Great morning with me and Gary shooting a light tackle Big Drum show for Brian Saunders and his Victory Fish Show. Stay tuned for some exciting video. We fished DOA popping corks with DOA Airheads underneath. We had 8 fish and back at dock at 10am fishing different locations finding fish at all. Brian looks to have caught an IFGA record yet to be confirmed.
Need to get on board now – openread full article

Mullet
It has been told to me that the commercial world in Pamlico County is NOT going to sell mullets to anyone in the CCA. With that said - I will do all I can to cover your needs - CCA or Commercial guys, needing bait. I will not hold what someone else does against them. Don't understand why in this country we live in that if you dont think like someone else you are wrong - I thought that was whyread full article

!st Bridal Trip
First trip out with my bride scouting about for bait and drum – menhaden situation stinks right now from Minnesott up Adams Creek and across river. Was lucky to have a good friend share with me some bait I sold.
Feed bait stealers but did stick one nice male drum in the mid-40s. Fish are here but still not killing bait soakers today. Tomorrow may be different and expect it to get better.

Fishin ON!
Fishing is about as good as it can get - Old Drum here and river shore hold loads of slot drum, trout and flounder (legal). Garris Jackson got his drum Saturday
and Ryder Pressly
caught his flounder Sunday - plenty of action to go around. Can possibly catch old and light tackle stuff in 1 trip - call to book one. And - mullet orders being taken - call ahead.
