Nov 28 2012 Trout Report

If you haven’t been out targeting the trout, you need to go!
The bite has been excellent with loads of legal fish and some nice citation grade too. Nice to see the larger stock; haven’t weighed in many trout in 2 years. Also have had some great report of puppy drum catches; not the slot fish we are missing but lots of pups that hopefully will make it to slot stuff later.

Water levels have been great with northerly wind and has spiked up the rock. Have had reports and pictures from Oriental to New Bern of some nice catches; both top water and jig bites. These were caught both as supplement to trout trips and targeting.
Trout numbers have been up too withread full article
