Merry Christmas


Santa is getting prepped to fly and this report brings to you my best of Merry Christmas wishes.
Fishing has been really good - loads of small trout to tug on rod with some really nice fish mixed in. Have to move
in search of the larger ones but can be well worth your time.
Rock are still on fire in Neuse and Trent waters. Topwater and jigging producing well. I prefer to use Rapala hardread full article

Pre Christmas Report
Well, my slow shop time is here - “Hibernation”. Thursday will be my last full shop hour day until March. Come get your Christmas Gift Certificates or products. Early Decenber Report



Sunday brought another ALMOST citation to my shop. Had one angler come in with what he was raving as a citation fish but missing. it by a mear .4 lb
Monday afternoon was a short late trip to tag a few local trout with some good success. Tagged about 10 in 2 hours before dark set in. Back out Tuesday AM with my buddy Bill chasing topwater rock. He said it had been years and owe was he enjoyingread full article

December 1 update

December is here and so are the fish. Lots of trout and striper action with some nice sized fish in the mix.
My “son” Matt showed up Sunday for the first time in a while with a nice string of fish - one ciatation at 5.2# Nice work on Mirrolures.
Several other reports of both species hitting hard and soft plastics. Have to slow baits down as water cools off.
