End Sept Report

Drum is slow to none now - lets catch some trout; My time of year. been good reports in various areas but no strong reports. My tourmanement kicked of this week and the Blands always open scales fish and hopefully htey can contend at the end. These two fish put Julia May in first for now at 2.12 and Jeff close behind at 2.0. We will see numbers go up fast so hang on.
My biggest news is I did a shoot with Gary Dubiel this week for visitnc.com, NC tourism site. We had fun with some small stuff and can be viewed Thursday on www.visitnc.com. under fall fishing report. He will be providing reports on this site through the Fall and is a good man for the task.
Hot topic is Pamlico County Shrine Club Speckle Trout Tournament is on 24 Oct. This is 3rd year and we ARE growing. Just ask anyone who has fished it what they think of it. Loads of door prizes to go along with cash money and fellowship. Flyers will be out this week in Pamlico, Craven, Carteret, and Beaufort counties. Come support us and join into some annual fun and we want your kids too. We have a jr angler category which needs kids.
Pass the word about Our Tournament and let me know if you need any additional info

Post Labor Day Update

North Easter plus rain had made for some miserable days fishing. Did get some nice trout reports in one of the favorite local areas by Jeff starting it of with his 3 lb fish on Mirrolure 19MRs. Author had a nice flounder hoping for a citation but notta enough lead in him. And as always – my Buddy has another 4 plus lb black drum. Trout should start picking up with greentails showing up; watch for the move to creeks.
Have several nice drum shots to share with reports of some large numbers being caught. How about Queeny and her buds first old drum. Will start winding down as water cools but now’s the time to get’um.
If you need fresh mullet for drum, call me in advance with your order. If you order you are required to pay for it. I can’t do anything with old mullet to get my money back, so please pay for what you order even if you change you plans.
I am trying to keep live shrimp in my tanks for those who don’t catch their own. I have all the tackle and accessories need for live shrimp survival and fishing.
Need a new Power Pole, pair of Costa del Mars, or a trolling motor? Call me for my discount pricing.
My shop tournament starts the 16th. Now is $35 to enter and can’t weigh in until 5 days after entry. There are currently only 13 entrants; not a big pot. I will post standing as it goes on. Shrine Club event coming along well, set your calendar for Oct 24th to fish with the kids (hope we get a lot this year)
Remember to always take your kids fishing.
