Late May Report

Fish are scattered – in summer mode. Need to look towards sound for best action.
Had a trip 21st with limited action. Worked my 2 “Pinfish” guys hard to get couple flounder and small trout. They were competitive with Jack having lead with the only pinfish until last cast John tied him! It’s all about fun no matter what we catch.
Brad and Mark came in 23rd with a great double limit and 2 fish taking 2nd and 3rd place in my shop tournament which ends 30th May. Look out for next falls event schedule to start in September. The more entries the more prize money. Only $25 to get in early.
My buddy Allen ALMOST got his 1st Citation at 4.94 lb. Keep trying boy and a trolling motor will do wonders!!!!!
My local kids are fishing ponds with my minnows having fun with bass and bream. All help keep out kids fishing!
Call me if you wish to book a fun trip.

Mid May Report

Nice trout, drum in river around piers, rocks, and structure. Had 11 nice fish last Sunday am with my brothers help (a little)? Have to fish early and late for trout. My bites were over by 9am for the most part. Baits have varied form Mirro’s, Yozuri’s, Gulp, live mud minnows – take your pick.
Also, cobia are ON! Have had reports of fish up 100# caught in inlets with live and dead baits. You won’t get bored with all the sharks and rays constantly eating baits. Don’t expect to go out and catch one every trip but when you do, hang on and be careful boating fish. They can hurt you and boat bad. We had 2 boats fishing 12th and after all day were fortunate to each boat hooking up about 6-7 pm. One weighed 68# at Town Creek Marina and other fish was 58# weighed in at Capt Stacy Fishing Center. Good day by all measures and a first for both anglers.
Call me if you wish to target either inshore or cobia while bite is good.

Have to cover some water and get out early, water getting hot. Cobia are here in inlets with 1 report of some big drum in sound. Fishing good for my Minnesott Beach kids fishing the local ponds with minnows. Dont get no better - reminds me of my childhood.
