Late April Report
Had a fun trip with the Smiths since last report. We were on some fish and Dad did the best! Was a bit windy but managed to boat a few and lost a few. This was a present from Todd to his Dad for birthday and retirement. Think I gave them a memorable trip - especially when I reaquianted them with my 1st mate Buddy Jackson.
Trout fishing has slowwed a bit with fish moved out of creeks into river. Expect to see more flounder and drum action soon with the warm weather.

April Update

Trout are scattered but quality fish are here for a little work. Capt Owen is leading my shop tournament with this 7.62 trout. Could have made 10 with a little gut! I had a 5.3 the other day but doesnt touch his exceptional catch. Most fish still being caught on hard plastics of your choice - Mirros, Yo-Zuri, and Rapalas leading. Dont let wind and rain stop you - fish still eat. You can still enter tournament for $35 and pays 3 places so dont let Owens fish scare you - there are more bigger out there.
Stop by and check out my new rod and reel selection at discounted prices. Have something for every pocket. Also can help with your trolling motor needs at a discount too.
