End of Feb Update

Capt Gary Dubiel had a miserable day yesterday with his boat but ended up locating some nice trout late. He tag and release several with one measuring 27”. I can only guess how much he should have weighed!
JB had a limit catch of trout with one hitting citation weight of 5.24#. Others...

Pre Cold Report on the Neuse
Just a quick update to let all the na- sayers know there are some nice fish mixed in with small ones. Don’t be fooled. You have to be patient but results are worth it. This one just missed citation – 4.94 lb.
JB had some nice fish and also on open split ring that he claims was his citation! Maybe my next time.

Feb 1 Summer Report
Still chasing rock and tagging trout. Out Monday afternoon with my buddy JB. He took me on a CHARTER. We didnt leave until 2pm and had a slow start; but by 5pm we had caught about 20 fish tagging most. They were mostly in 12-14 inch range with 4 between 17 3/4 and 21 inches.
