4th of July
If not for the punishment of our fisheries, the weather is continually hammering us. Overall things are rather slow with some reports of nice flounder being the prize catch. An occasional trout or drum can be nabbed on your favorite artificial with live and cut bait proving the best. Top water rock can still be caught in New Bern, great action for a slow summer fishery.
